The students started to work on their Original Works fundraising project this morning. I can't wait to see the finished product.

The students had a great time playing BINGO where they got to search for students who had completed particular tasks over break! They had so much fun. :)
Below you will find a link with an entry form and contest sheet for the Scholastic's Robots of the Future contest. This is a simple and optional contest that students throughout the United States in grades 2-4 may enter. Students are supposed to come up with a robot that solves a problem in the world. Students must draw a detailed picture and explain on the entry sheet how it would function. The grand prize for the winning student is a Macbook Laptop and the winning classroom receives 3 iPads, a $250 gift certificate to scholastic, and a class set of Disney XD gift bags! All entry forms must be mailed to Scholastic by 1/9 therefore I am asking that students try to get all entry forms to me before the winter holiday on 12/21/16. All forms must be signed by a parent/guardian to be entered. www.scholastic.com/robots-of-the-future/pdfs/robots-contest-entry-packet.pdf?ET_CID=20161207_SNP_MECH_Contest_SL1_ACQ_18876&ET_RID=1372237926 |
